What's included?
This membership is designed to give you the tools, support, and accountability you need to make blogging an efficient and effective tool in your business.
Monthly Workshop
Once a month I'll host a workshop to help you with your blog. These will be recorded so those who can't join me live can watch the replay.
From December 2023 we'll use this system:
In the third month of each quarter (March, June, September, and December), we'll use the workshop time for my quarterly planning workshop.
In the first and second months of each quarter, I'll teach you something new about blogging (including writing and creativity work), blog trends, and/or tech.
These will usually be scheduled for the 3rd week of the month and will alternate between Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. The live workshops will run in the first hour or so of the planned cowriting time. When we finish that part, we'll have time together for you to start using what you learned - with me on hand to answer questions.
WhatsApp group support
Participants will be able to ask me questions as and when they need to in a dedicated WhatsApp group. I'll respond to members' questions twice a day Monday to Friday.
Don't worry that you'll phone be pinging at you at all hours - I'll show you how to turn off the notifications. You'll only need to look through the chat when and if you want to.
Essentially, this group is like having a writing coach in your pocket - together, we'll work through any blocks you come up against and keep you blogging.
Resource library
You'll get access to my growing library of mini courses and handbooks that are relevant to bloggers.
This is where you'll find past live workshops, as well as any mini courses or handbooks I create that are relevant to blogging.
Currently the library includes:
- Magic Ideas Generator
- Make the Most of Your Post
- Using Questions to Make Writing Fast and Easy
- A 5-part series on site structure, SEO, and pillar pages
- Repurposing Your Pillar Page as a YouTube Playlist
- Stop Waiting for Inspiration to Create Good Content
10+ cowriting sessions per Month
We'll meet via Zoom for at least 10 cowriting sessions each month to give you the time and accountability you need to write your posts and to turn them into other assets for your business, like social media posts and newsletters. You don't have to attend all of the sessions.
For most months, these sessions will be held as follows (this schedule is subject to change):
- Tuesdays, 10:30am to 12:30pm (UK)
- 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 4pm to 5pm (UK)
- Thursdays, 2pm to 4pm (UK)
In December 12 sessions will be held in the first half of the month and in January in the second half to allow for the holidays.
Scroll down to see how these sessions could work for you and your business.
Bonus
When you join, I'll gift you free editing on 3 posts (average word count: 1500 words; total word count: 4500 words). This means I'll fix errors while maintaining your authorial voice. I'll also give you feedback to help you improve your writing.
If, after I've edited 3 of your posts, you want me to edit more - you can purchase a 3-post package for £75 (this is a 16% discount on my normal rate for non-members, £90/4500 words).
How would it work for you?
Clearly, the monthly lesson and coaching session, WhatsApp group, and resource library are geared towards giving you the information you need to be a happier, more consistent blogger. But what would you do with the cowriting sessions? First, I'd say most of you will only really need 4 per month, but you're welcome to attend all of them if you want to - you're free to use them to work on other things in your business.
To the right, I outline how you could use those four hours to keep your business visible and make the most of your content. Note that I said, how you 'could' use the time - this is an example, not a prescription.
Cowriting session 1
In the first cowriting session of the month, you'd outline your post and write the messy draft of it.
Cowriting session 2
In the second session, you'd revise and polish your messy draft so you can publish your post.
Cowriting session 3
In the third session, you'd pull at least 5 quotations out of your post and turn them into Canva graphics for social media posts. You'd also draft the accompanying posts and calls to action.
Cowriting session 4
In the fourth session, you'd republish blog posts from previous months as Medium articles and/or LinkedIn articles. You'd also continue creating social media posts from posts you've written (both this month's post and older ones).

Don't worry about it. The recorded lesson will be put in the resource library so you can access it at a time that suits you. If you have questions about the material or about anything else blogging related, you can use the WhatsApp group to ask me.
I realise the timings of the sessions may not work for everyone. I will encourage EBC members to use the WhatsApp group to plan additional or alternative cowriting sessions. As the EBC grows, I'll hire staff to run additional sessions.
I've chosen to use WhatsApp to offer regular support because it's easy for most users to access. It has the advantages of being easily muted (so your phone isn't pinging all day) and of allowing you to learn from other members' questions when you choose to look through the chat. If you do not wish to use WhatsApp, that's your choice - just email me to let me know and we'll find a workaround. Just remember that doing this will mean that you won't be able to learn from others' questions and my answers to them.
Of course, just email me at least 3 days before your next bill is due so I can cancel it. Alternatively, you can cancel the payment via PayPal.
Yes, you can. When you follow my outlining system and commit to writing a messy first draft (the only good first draft is a finished one), you'll be able to outline and draft an entire post in just one hour.
Of course you can. The thing that this membership has that a weekend spent with Google doesn't is the support and community you need to blog consistently. Google can give you information, but it can't give you accountability, nor can it tailor its information to your unique situation.
If you have other questions or just want to make sure the EBC is for you, book a quick chat!
FYI - I don't do 'sales calls'. This chat is your opportunity to ask questions, not my opportunity to sell at you (just thinking about doing that makes my skin crawl).
