Expert Habits – Audit Your Habits
Find out what's working and what's not so you can save time and energy.
Audit Your Habits is the first part of my larger programme, Set Your Habits. I sell it separately for those who just need some help getting started.
In your audit we'll
- Assess your current habits and identify what needs to change to improve your business and life.
- Assess your past content to find the evergreen posts hiding in it, so you can step off the content hamster wheel and start scheduling ahead.
By the end, you'll have more time and clarity!
You're too close to see your habits clearly
You're living your life and running your business, day in and day out. While you're in the midst of it, it's hard to see what needs to change.
In our first session, we'll talk through your processes to identify sticking points:
- where you're taking longer than needed to do something
- where there's a simple (usually free) automation you're not using to its full potential
- which 'small' tasks are taking up more energy and headspace than you realised
At the end of that session, you'll have a plan for addressing the issues we identified.
You're almost certainly not using your content efficiently!
I've been telling clients, and anyone else who will listen, to repurpose, repurpose, repurpose for years. I've written blog posts about how to do it and how it will help you. And still, they don't.
Clearly, explaining how to do it isn't enough.
In Audit Your Habits, I'll go through some of your old content, identify what can be reused, and show you how to do it. We'll discuss what I did and how in our first meeting.
Then, you'll apply what you learn to a few old posts on your own and we'll have a second meeting to discuss how you got on. If you need a further meeting to make sure you know what you're doing, we'll have a third meeting.
How it's going for the first client I'm taking through this programme:
She sent me
- a few blog posts,
- a sales page,
- her Instagram, and
- her homepage.
I found, and drafted for her, more than 60 posts she can reuse on her socials, in her newsletter, and on her Substack notes. I also found, but didn't change, 100s of Instagram posts she can repurpose without changing them on other platforms.
That means she has time and space to decide what she wants to write next.
By the time she finishes part two, she'll have at least 50 more posts and she'll understand how to repurpose new content she writes.
How it works
All sessions will take place via Zoom.
Before our first session
When you sign up, you'll get a welcome email that includes a short Google Doc. You'll need to answer the questions in that document (this is when you'll send me some of your old content) and send it back to me and schedule our first session.
Our first session
We'll discuss your habits and working patterns and what you can do to help things run more smoothly – you didn't start your business so you could work all the hours, right? We'll also discuss the posts I pulled out of the content you sent me in that Google Doc.
After our first session
You'll spend some time looking at how I pulled posts from your old content and have a go at doing the same with some of your remaining content. You'll also have access to a recorded workshop on that reminds you how to repurpose your content. Finally, you'll schedule a followup meeting.
Follow-up session(s)
We'll meet to discuss how you got on with repurposing content on your own and how your revised habits are working for you. You'll have the option of booking a third follow-up session if you want to – I'll leave that decision with you.
What your audit will give you
Time and space
You'll be able to schedule content ahead of time, allowing you to connect with your audience while having more time to do the things you love in your life and business.
Confidence
You'll have learned a repeatable process for repurposing content. That means, you'll be confident in repurposing everything you write in the future.
Consistency
Building trust with your audience is easier when you show up week after week. That's hard work if you're writing new stuff every week. Repurposing makes it easy.
FAQs
If you change your mind before I've started work on repurposing your content, you can request a full refund. After I've done any part of the work, you're committed to completing the Audit.

Yes. This is the first part of my 1-year programme, Expert Habits – Set Your Habits. If you've already signed up for Set the Habits, you don't need to buy this separately. If you do Audit your Habits and then decide you want the full programme, I'll deduct £500 from the price when I send you an invoice, so you won't pay for it twice.
Old content is anything you wrote about/for your business that you own the rights to. These often include:
- blog posts,
- newsletters,
- self-published book(s) – published or in draft,
- social media posts,
- your website,
- landing pages,
- transcripts from webinars
If you've published a book traditionally (with a publisher), you probably don't own the right to reuse those words.
