There's a Book in Every Expert - relaunch (£2000/$2750)

This special relaunch price is good through the end of 2025. Since we need to see if we work well together before you commit to spending 6 months with me, click the button below to book a call. This is just a get-to-know you call, not a sales call. In fact, you will not be able to purchase anything on the call.

This is a special relaunch price - the normal price will be £3000/$4100.

Why do I want you to book a call before you sign up?

I want to talk to you first so I can make sure:

  • the book you want to write is suitable for this programme
  • your business is established enough that a book will be helpful for you
  • we'll work well together
  • you've met me and had a chance to ask questions

This is not a sales call. I won't ask you to commit to anything during our discussion. You won't even be able to sign up for the course on the call.

If we agree that the programme is right for you and your book, I'll send you a followup email asking you to let me know if you want me to send you the link so you can sign up for the programme.

What's included?:

1. First Steps to Becoming an Author

In this module, I'll share with you my 3-step framework to:

  • Overcome the blocks that are holding you back so you're excited to get your book out!
  • Find the time in your busy schedule (without working longer hours) so you can quickly and easily write the book your future clients need to read!
  • Create a simple step-by-step plan for getting your book done and published!

2. How to write so your book turns readers into clients

In this module I'll show you how to

  • Map out where your book will sit in your business so you can develop a strategy for how to use it to grow your business and convert more clients,
  • Identify your ideal audience and narrow that down to one ideal reader – writing to one person makes your writing more accessible to all of your future readers.
  • Decide how you want your reader to feel and what action you want them to take after reading your book.
  • Choose your ideal topic.

3. Outline your book and write your messy draft

In this workshop, you'll outline your book. Unlike the outlines you're used to, this one uses questions to make the writing process easier! The outline will help you:

  • Break down your writing tasks into small manageable chunks
  • Stop writer's block in its tracks because you'll always know what you're writing next
  • Make writing your book feel like you're talking to an old friend
  • Write your messy draft as quickly as possible

4. Market your book

This workshop will show you how to start connecting with your readers before you even finish your first draft - they'll be excited to buy and read your book on publication day! I'll show you my method for

  • promoting your book before you even start writing it
  • using your draft (and eventually your published book) to market both your book and your business - so you can work smarter, not harder
  • growing your audience so you have a group of excited readers, ready to buy your book on publication day

5. Book the help you'll need

Not a book cover designer? Don't know how to find one? No worries - this workshop will walk you through what help you might need and help you find and book reputable professionals to make your book brilliant!

6. First revision workshop

In this workshop, you'll use techniques like the reverse outline to sort the big-picture issues in your book. This will help you make sure your book is reader-friendly.

7. Second revision workshop

This is when your inner critic/editor gets to come out to play. In your second revision, you'll sort out all the little sentence-level issues like word choice and punctuation (to the best of your ability - the final polish is done by your editor/proofreader) - before you send your draft to your beta readers.

8. Dealing with other people's opinions

People have opinions. When you write a book, some of them will share their opinions with you. You need to be prepared to deal with them, so in this workshop we talk about how to respond to your beta readers' feedback, your editor's feedback, and everyone else's take on your book. Once you've dealt with your beta readers' and editor's feedback, you'll be ready to format and publish your book or send your book to your publisher!!

In addition to the workshops, you'll get ...

Group coaching

You'll have access to both monthly group coaching calls and to asynchronous coaching in a dedicated WhatsApp group (for the questions that arise between calls).

Up to 5 hours of cowriting each week

Meeting with others to write makes the whole process easier.

6 30-minute 121 coaching sessions with me

Writing a book is a personal process. I'm giving you these sessions so you'll have space just for you and your questions.

Formatting support

If your book doesn't have illustrations or graphics, I'll either format the interior for you or walk you through the process using Atticus (if you choose this option, you'd need to purchase the software for your use).

Additional publishing costs to keep in mind

  • If you format your book yourself, you’ll need Atticus software: $147.
  • If your book is image-dependent, you’ll need to hire a professional to format it - that is likely to start at £3000.
  • ISBN numbers: £174 for 10 - they don't expire and are nontransferable; you’ll need 2 for your first book (paperback and eBook) - this is crucial for protecting your intellectual property. If you are not publishing in the UK, you will need to obtain ISBNs for your book from your country's official source.
  • Cover designer - costs are variable.
  • Editor / proofreader - costs are variable.

After you publish your book you’ll be able to use it to ...

Establish your credibility by demonstrating your expertise in your field - helping new audiences to trust you can help them.

Help current and past clients remember what you taught them - they'll always be able to return to your words and advice in your book, making it easier for them to recommend you to others.

Attract more clients into your business as they understand how you can help them.

Sell your services effortlessly without being salesy.
