Reward Yourself

We humans respond really well to positive reinforcement. This applies to our writing lives too! To learn more about how this relates to you as a writer, read Reward Yourself for Writing.

Your rewards can be as simple or elaborate as you wish, but they need to be things you actually want – otherwise they won’t motivate you. For example, I know someone who rewards herself with a Jelly Baby every time she writes 100 words. I don’t like Jelly Babies, so this wouldn’t work for me.

Download this rewards planner and start planning your rewards today! Remember to make the goals attached to these rewards SMART – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based.
