Creating Good Writing Habits

Thank you for attending this workshop. I hope you found it useful and that some of what we discussed helps make your writing easier.

Below, you'll find the short survey I'd like you to complete, as well as the slides and resources we discussed in the workshop.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at jennifer@ewc.coach

please fill in this short survey

Please respond to this survey (created using Google Forms) to tell me about your writing and how you think the workshop went. I'll use feedback from this survey both to improve future versions of this workshop and for marketing.

As I explain on the survey, I will not share your typed answers with anyone unless you give me permission to do so in question 3. The survey will not collect any identifying details.

Links from the workshop - 15 November 2023

If you're suffering from imposter syndrome, watch Lou Solomon's Tedx Charlotte Talk, "The Surprising Solution to the Imposter Syndrome" - I love how she puts her internal negative voice in its place.

This book is for business owners, but the writing process is the same whatever you're writing. Use the chapter titles to guide your reading and email me if you can't find what you need, but suspect is in the book. I normally charge for this, so if you want to suggest it to someone else, please send them this link: https://ewc.coach/author/

Use this tracker (or its principles) to figure out when you write best and how you can nurture your creativity. Read this blog post "How to find creativity when you need it" to learn more about this.

One of my current clients recently introduced me to Tim Urban's Ted Talk, "Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator". It's funny and thought provoking, so well worth a watch if you think you might procrastinate too much.
